  • We're currently promoting Momentum Picture's 'Disaster Movie, producing both Digital and AV content and running the Online Promotional campaign.  So far it's all shaping up very well, with huge trailer view numbers generated by our seeding strategy, thousands of friends on our Bebo profile and some lovely print coverage of the Amy Winehouse game in The Metro.  Have a look at our official site (and play the games!) here: www.disaster-movie.co.uk
  • It's chart topping time at Lionsgate
  • Posted by Guy Meyer @2:41 PM, 7/17/2008
  • We’d like to congratulate our client Lionsgate on its best ever home entertainment revenue result, a whopping $623.5 million during 2007/08.  Hopefully our work on 3:10 To Yuma, Good Luck Chuck, Bratz: The Movie and Dirty Dancing helped in part!  We were also tickled pink to see The Bank Job head straight into the number one spot of the Combined Retail Video Chart – another title that benefited from the Momentum touch!

  • The good people at the IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau) have, in partnership with Microsoft Advertising, created a guide to Online Movie Marketing.  We're delighted to report that our very own digital guru Christian Perrins was one of the industry experts interviewed.  The book is due to be published later this month and we'd be happy to send copies to any of our clients who want to read up on the latest thinking!
  • WALL•E
  • Posted by Darren Cavanagh @12:38 PM, 7/8/2008
  • Momentum are extremely proud to be working on the TV campaign for WALL.E. The film is certainly one of Disney Pixar's finest and our current TV spots reflect this. WALL.E is immensely charming, endearing, captivating and funny. It was a joy to work with such a fun, lovable robot. The TV spots are also featured online, including the IMDB homepage and Youtube. We wish The Walt Disney Motion Picture Company UK every success upon its release.
  • Three to see
  • Posted by Darren Cavanagh @12:37 PM, 7/8/2008
  • To showcase their 3 biggest releases of 2008, The Walt Disney Motion Picture Company UK embraced our unique concept of highlighting all 3 films into one trailer. By taking the essence of Narnia Prince Caspian, Wall.E and High School Musical 3, we created an exciting, fast paced trailer that emphasized the quality and diversity of Walt Disney as a leading UK distributor. It was shown across cinema foyers all over the UK.

  • A Message From Guy!
  • Posted by Guy Meyer @4:52 PM, 11/26/2007
  • Hello there and welcome to the new Momentum web site.  It's a simple affair that we've designed to showcase the work we do here with a minimum of fuss or agency waffle.

You will have noticed no doubt that we have also given our company ID a little makeover.  This brand development is the culmination of what has been a very exciting year for us, a year in which we've launched our digital division, developed and refined our TV and Theatrical commercial offering, tackled multi-territory International campaigns and enhanced our Twickenham premises!

With great campaigns under our belts for Shrek The Third, National Treasure 2, Ratatouille, The Bourne Ultimatum, The Kite Runner, Bee Movie, Goodbye Bafana, The Lives Of Others, Mr Bean's Holiday, Black Sheep, Hannibal, Wild Hogs, And When Did You Last See Your Father? and Evan Almighty (to name but a few!) - we cannot wait for 2008.

    Bring it on!

Have a great Christmas and a prosperous new year - Guy.

In a speech entitled 'Web 2.0 Is Not A Panacea' Christian made the case for brand managers to embrace the endless opportunities interactive media channels bring, whilst employing objectivity and common sense when incorporating them in the marketing mix. Christian has created a set of no-nonsense guidelines on Web 2.0 which includes examples of the great and the not-so-great! If you'd like to hear more - get in touch!
